Ready Set Rocket has named Rich Kolopeaua its new Executive Creative Director as the New York-based agency continues to expand its integrated creative and business transformation offerings.
Kolopeaua joins the agency during a period of significant growth and will help shape the next phase of Ready Set Rocket’s creative vision, reporting directly to CEO and Agency Partner Lauren Bello.
“What Rich understands — and what most people underestimate — is that integrated creative isn’t just a big idea that gets handed off,” Bello said. “It’s knowing how to make the work land the right way across every touchpoint, every audience, every moment in someone’s journey.”
She added that Kolopeaua brings “strategic depth, genuine creativity, and the ability to inspire and hold a high bar across a lot of moving pieces,” calling his addition “a game changer” as the agency evolves its client offerings.
With more than 20 years spanning advertising, film, and emerging technology, Kolopeaua has built a career around multidisciplinary storytelling and consumer engagement. Before joining Ready Set Rocket, he held leadership roles at Deutsch, Mustache, and Fluid, leading campaigns for brands including Google, Samsung, and Anheuser-Busch.
His work has earned recognition from organizations including Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, the Art Directors Club, and the Webby Awards.
“I’ve spent my career pursuing creative work that breaks through by bridging brand ambition and real consumer behavior, and RSR fits that perfectly,” Kolopeaua said. “Lauren has shaped it into an agency with creative range, with the strategic depth and analytical rigor to back it up.”
Kolopeaua begins his new role immediately. And from all of us here at Reel 360 News, congratulations to Rich on the new gig.
