Veteran executive music producer and supervisor Peter Gannon has joined Invisible Art as Partner, Creative Director, and Music Supervisor, bringing nearly two decades of award-winning experience from leading global agencies including Ogilvy, Wieden + Kennedy, and McCann Worldwide.
Based in New York, Invisible Art launched in 2024 and is led by composers Craig DeLeon and Jonathan Sanford, who serve as Creative Directors, alongside Managing Director Kit Winter. The boutique music company was founded to offer a modern, Black-and-female-owned alternative in the music-for-picture space, grounded in deep experience across film, television, streaming, and advertising.
“With his agency experience and extraordinary music supervision skillset, Peter completes our 360-degree range in music for advertising,” said Sanford.
Winter added, “Peter has spent years in the trenches agency-side, working directly with brands. That perspective is invaluable. We jumped at the opportunity to bring him on not only as a partner, but as a trusted collaborator and friend.”
Gannon’s creative foundation combines an avant-garde classical conservatory education with a career spanning composition, sound design, indie film music supervision, and a decade as a recording and touring artist signed to Beggars Banquet Records. That multidisciplinary background has shaped his approach to music-driven storytelling across platforms.
Throughout his career, Gannon has led “music-first” campaigns for major global brands, including Billboard-charting original music for Chevy Silverado, SXSW Interactive Award-winning work for Nature Valley, and Super Bowl campaigns for Coca-Cola, Heinz, Ford, Spectrum, and others. His work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, The One Show, AICP, AMP, LIA, and the Guild of Music Supervisors.
In 2020, Gannon founded Halo Music & Sound, further expanding his creative leadership before ultimately joining Invisible Art. “Invisible Art’s launch immediately caught my attention,” Gannon shared. “Starting my own boutique company was a dream, and my vision for Halo was to build a team with the caliber of talent, integrity, and kindness that Craig, Jonathan, and Kit embody. When the opportunity to join IA came along, it was an easy yes.”
He continued, “We share a vision of adapting, growing, and keeping the creative bar high. This is a team of high-quality people doing meaningful work, and I’m excited to contribute to what they’ve already built.”
With Gannon’s addition, Invisible Art’s leadership now includes four veteran music creators whose collective work has shaped some of the most celebrated advertising and entertainment projects of the past two decades.
“Peter’s arrival marks a defining moment for Invisible Art,” said DeLeon. “It brings together shared values, deep trust, and a commitment to standout creative work at the highest level.”
Invisible Art is represented in the Midwest by The Cre8tors, the creative talent management and production consulting firm led by Dani Jackson-Smith and Jenny Lumpkin.
Reel 360 News wishes Peter and the entire Invisible Art team the best as they embark on this exciting new chapter.
