The recent deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin, and so many others throughout history that were not filmed are why we say emphatically that ‘Black Lives Matter’, and stand in solidarity with all those who protest against police violence, racism, and discrimination.
We also realise that standing in this moment is not enough; we need action. The One Club for Creativity Board and Staff have taken action by financially supporting the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. We will also continue to help support, build, and grow the black creative community.
