
Critics Choice Association crowned One Battle After Another Best Picture at the 31st Annual Critics’ Choice Awards, held Sunday night at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica and broadcast live on E! and USA Network.
Hosted by Chelsea Handler, the ceremony aired coast to coast on January 4, 2026, with next-day streaming availability on Peacock.

In addition to Best Picture, Paul Thomas Anderson earned top honors for Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay for One Battle After Another, solidifying the film as one of the night’s most celebrated winners.
In the film categories, Frankenstein and Sinners led all titles with four wins each. Frankenstein took home awards for Best Supporting Actor (Jacob Elordi), Best Production Design (Tamara Deverell and Shane Vieau), Best Costume Design (Kate Hawley), and Best Hair and Makeup (Mike Hill, Jordan Samuel, and Cliona Furey). Sinners won Best Young Actor (Miles Caton), Best Original Screenplay (Ryan Coogler), Best Casting and Ensemble (Francine Maisler), and Best Score (Ludwig Göransson).
On the television side, Adolescence dominated the series categories, winning four awards, including Best Limited Series. Acting honors went to Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper, and Erin Doherty. The Pitt and The Studio followed closely behind with three wins each.
