I want to laugh, but this ain’t funny. Jared Leto, who played the Clown Prince of Crime in David Ayer’s 2016 Suicide Squad, will reprise the the role of the Green haired monster in the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, someone close to production told the outlet that Leto would return to the role he starred alongside Margot Robbie and Will Smith.
Justice League will be a mammoth 4-hour-long, episodic presentation on HBO Max. As we reported before an additional $70 million has been poured into the project enabling Snyder, who left the original production due to a family tragedy, to see his vision through.

New footage is scheduled to shot either this month or sometime soon with Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot.
