Nissan’s Heisman House hits the road for Season 15

Heisman House

For 15 years, Nissan’s Heisman House has been a fall tradition—bringing together legends of college football for a season of hijinks, rivalry, and camaraderie. But this year, the house itself is closing its doors, thanks to a “city inspection,” forcing the Heisman legends out on the open road for an epic road trip powered by Nissan’s award-winning lineup.

The shift isn’t just narrative—it’s a showcase. Fresh off being named #1 for New Vehicle Quality among Mass-Market brands in J.D. Power’s 2025 Initial Quality Study, Nissan’s fleet takes center stage. From the rugged Frontier PRO-4X with 7,150-pound towing capacity, to the MotorTrend #1–ranked Rogue Rock Creek, the Pathfinder Rock Creek V-6, and the all-new all-electric 2026 LEAF (currently the most affordable new EV in the U.S.), the brand is spotlighting its vehicles as much as its athletes.

“The Nissan Heisman House has always been where legends live—but this season, we’re taking fans on the road with their favorite athletes and Nissan’s most exciting new vehicles,” said Allyson Witherspoon, CMO, Nissan U.S.

New Season, New Faces, Same Rivalry

Joining returning icons like Barry Sanders, Tim Tebow, Robert Griffin III, Baker Mayfield, Eddie George, and Jayden Daniels is newcomer Travis Hunter, the NFL’s #2 overall draft pick and a two-way phenom. Their forced relocation sets the stage for a series of adventures across highways, campgrounds, and unexpected pit stops—including a crossover with college football fan-favorite Fansville. The new spots, created by TBWA\Chiat\Day New York, include:

Launch Inspector – Travis Hunter’s first year in the House gets cut short by an inspection, sending him and the crew packing into Nissan’s 2025 lineup.

State Line – Eddie George and Tim Tebow’s road trip through Ohio takes a competitive turn when rival territory looms.

Additional spots: Sheriff, Go Fish, and Shower.

The new campaign will roll out five new spots across ESPN, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and social media, starting August 28. Highlights include:
