New Era is stepping into the 2026 MLB season with a refreshed lineup of on-field and fan-ready caps, blending performance upgrades with design updates across its Batting Practice, Spring Training, and Clubhouse collections.
As the official on-field cap provider for Major League Baseball, New Era continues to evolve its product line with a clear emphasis on comfort, versatility, and player-driven design.
Leading the update is the introduction of two new silhouettes. The 9FORTY APEX is positioned as the lightest cap the brand has produced, built with a flexible A-frame structure, breathable mesh backing, and moisture-wicking, anti-microbial materials designed for on-field performance.
The 39THIRTY INFINITY, meanwhile, pushes the boundaries of seamless construction, featuring a one-piece crown and lightweight fabric to maximize comfort for both players and fans. Watch below:
The Batting Practice collection leans into performance, extending the APEX technology across multiple silhouettes, including the brand’s iconic 59FIFTY. The goal is clear. Caps that move with players and hold up through the demands of game-day routines.
To support the Batting Practice launch, New Era rolled out a campaign titled “Lost & Found,” featuring Corbin Carroll and Tarik Skubal. The spot leans into humor, with both players calling a lost-and-found office in search of their missing caps, only for the staffer to keep them after hearing about the features. Watch below:
For Spring Training, New Era taps into location-based storytelling. Designs pull from Arizona’s Cactus League and Florida’s Grapefruit League, incorporating embroidered regional elements like cacti, palm trees, and grapefruits alongside team branding and a “26” season mark.
The Clubhouse collection shifts the focus to pre- and post-game wear, prioritizing breathability and ease without sacrificing style. The INFINITY cap anchors the lineup, supported by a range of familiar silhouettes updated with lightweight materials and modern detailing.
The full 2026 lineup is now rolling out across New Era and MLB retail channels, giving fans access to the same caps seen on the field as the new season gets underway.
