NBC announces when One Chicago, The Voice and Law and Order return

If you’ve been missing Night Court, One Chicago and Law and Order, your wait is coming to an end. NBC has unveiled its midseason schedule, featuring the return of fan favorites and exciting new twists on established shows.

“Building off the momentum of a strong fall, we’re entering midseason with a powerhouse schedule that leans into the strength of both beloved titles and new shows while also growing our audience across NBC and Peacock,” Frances Berwick, chairman of NBCUniversal Entertainment, said in a press release.

“This season brings fresh takes on favorites, including the first double-chair on The Voice, a new spin on America’s Got Talent and a tropical setting for Deal or No Deal Island, as well as the return of last season’s top comedy Night Court, Jon Cryer’s return to network television with Extended Family and the much-anticipated return of #OneChicago and the Law & Order franchise – all of which continue to establish NBC as a destination for our loyal fans,” Berwick continued. 

NBC’s One Chicago Franchise and Law and Order returns (Premieres on January 17 and January 18, 2024): Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. return on January 17, followed by the Law and Order franchise with premieres on January 18.

America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League (Premieres on January 1, 2024) presents a new twist on the popular talent show where judges will draft their favorite acts from past winners, finalists, fan favorites, and viral sensations.

Extended Family (Premieres on December 23, 2023) is a new comedy starring John Cryer, Donald Faison, and Abigail Spencer. The show officially returns on December 23 but will settle into its regular time slot on January 2, 2024.

Deal or No Deal Island (Premieres on March 4, 2024) offers a tropical twist on the classic game show “Deal or No Deal,” hosted by Joe Manganiello. The show will feature 13 contestants competing for a significant cash prize over the course of a season.

The Voice (Premieres on February 26, 2024) returns with a unique twist as three-time Grammy winners Dan + Shay join as the show’s first coaching duo.

The concluding episodes of The Irrational and Found series will air in 2024. All episodes will be available to stream on Peacock the day after their premiere on NBC. Additionally, premiere dates for other shows like Quantum Leap, Magnum P.I., Lopez vs. Lopez, The Weakest Link, Password, That’s My Jam, and The Wall are yet to be announced.
