Michele Fabrizi, CEO of MARC USA, has announced her retirement on October 31 from the position she has held since 2003.

Fabrizi joined the agency in 1982 and rose rapidly in account leadership roles before being named President/CEO of the Pittsburgh office in 2000 and agency-wide President/CEO just three years later.

MARC USA Chairman Tony Bucci cited Fabrizi’s impact, “Michele led the agency to significant expansion in both clients and range of services, playing a major role in multiple acquisitions and four digital start-ups. She has always been a changemaker.”

Fabrizi explained her decision to step down at this time. “All our offerings make us highly competitive and well-positioned in the changing marketplace. I feel confident that the leadership team Tony Bucci and I have put in place is well-poised for the future as evidenced by their wins this year including the Maryland Lottery, Beltone, CLR household cleaning products and Glanbia nutrition products. The agency is in good hands to continue to grow.”

She adds, “I am truly excited about my own next chapter. I am seeking to identify and explore corporate board opportunities that will draw on my skills as a CEO who has worked across diverse industries as well as my track record as a business and digital innovator. I am also continuing my roles as Chair of the Pittsburgh Opera and member of the Advisory Board of WHAM – Women’s Health Access Matters, an innovative organization committed to disrupting the current model of medical research and long-standing gender inequities.”

Tony Bucci continues as MARC USA Chairman, and Cari Bucci continues as President, a role she has held since October 2018.
