‘Matrix 4’ stunt video reveals Neo, Trinity in action

Last week at the Oscars, Best Supporting Actor winner, Brad Pitt, gave props to all of the stunt men and women who risk death-defying stunts on a daily basis. That point is made in spades by today’s video from the the Matrix 4 set. The film (probably a working title) is in full-on production mode in San Francisco.

Recently, star Keanu Reeves (Neo/Thomas Anderson) tweeted some pics of himself from the San Francisco set. That featured Neo looking disheveled with long hair, beard and old clothes.

However, this new video posted on Reeves’ YouTube channel gives us a Neo with a far more familiar look. Although it’s 99% positive that is not Reeves and co-star Carrie-Anne Moss leaping from the skyscraper, the video shows what appears to be their stunt doubles diving from a rooftop while wired-up.

Take note that the stunt woman actually stops mid-fall and rockets back up towards crane while holding her companion’s hand.

Check out the video for yourselves below and let us know what you think.

After wrapping in San Francisco, the production will then move to Chicago and Germany so expect many more set photos etc. The Matrix 4 is set to be released on May 21st, 2021.

Wachowski will helm and co-write the screenplay with novelists Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell. She is producing with Grant Hill, who executive produced Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions.

The cast will also be comprised of Keanu Reeves, Carrie Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jonathan Groff, and Neil Patrick Harris and Eréndira Ibarra.

The trilogy has grossed over $1.6 billion at the WW box office.
