Marvel’s MCU collected 19 Emmy nominations this year across four series which are currently streaming on Disney+. If you’re keeping score, Moon Knight collected eight, Loki received six, Hawkeye was nominated for two.
Another Disney+ series What If…? took home three nominations, two of which were for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performances, one for the late Chadwick Boseman, the other for Westworld’s Jeffrey Wright.
In comparison to last year, when Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, and Kathryn Hahn received nominations for their performances in WandaVision, no actors in any Marvel show received nominations for their performances outside of the three who were nominated for their voice-over performances.
While WandaVision DID take home three Emmys for Outstanding Original Music And Lyrics, Outstanding Production Design, and Outstanding Fantasy/Sci-Fi Costumes, Bettany, Olsen, and Hahn went home empty-handed.
