Manifest fans have clearly manifested what they desired – streamer Netflix has saved the series after its sudden cancellation by NBC. The streamer announced it Saturday and TheWrap reported.
The mystery thriller will get 20 new episodes to wrap up the story of the passengers of Flight 828. According to the story, the episodes will be released in parts, with a specific number yet to be determined.
The new deal follows a lengthy campaign to save the show by fans and producers Warner Bros. Television. Talks with Netflix initially began shortly after the cancellation in June. Netflix later resumed conversations with WBTV after the #SaveManifest campaign continued on social media, bolstered by series creator Jeff Rake, and as viewership of the show’s first two seasons surged on

Rake returns as showrunner and executive producer on the new season alongside executive producers Robert Zemeckis, Jack Rapke, Jacqueline Levine and Len Goldstein.
