Creative studio m ss ng p eces has expanded its leadership bench, promoting Rebecca Davis to Executive Producer and Vicky Illk to Head of Production, Live Action. Davis joins EPs Dave Saltzman, Dinah Rodriguez, Edward Grann, and Arelys Perez. At the same time, Illk will partner closely with Alex Curran, Head of Immersive Production, to steer the company’s live-action slate.

Davis began as a freelance producer and arrived at m ss ng p eces nine years ago as Head of Production, later becoming Director of Production—a post she has held for more than three years. Known internally for pairing rigorous budgeting and operations with sharp visual instincts, she’s helped shepherd many of the studio’s most acclaimed projects.

“Rebecca has led production at m ss ng p eces for almost a decade, shepherding countless projects that have consistently been heralded as some of the industry’s best. We couldn’t be more thrilled that she’ll bring her brilliance as a leader into a new chapter as an Executive Producer on our team,” said Brian Latt, Managing Partner.

Illk joined m ss ng p eces in 2016 and most recently served as Senior Bidding Producer. She entered the industry as a stand-in on New Orleans blockbusters before freelancing in Austin and Los Angeles. A Tulane University honors graduate in Psychology and a Meisner Technique–trained actor with stand-up and sketch roots, Illk brings humor, empathy, and problem-solving savvy to production.

“Vicky has been an integral member of our team for nearly ten years, approaching production challenges with humor and empathy,” Latt added. “We value her commitment to supporting our directors’ creative vision, and we’re so happy to have her as our new Head of Live Action Production.”
