Lady Gaga goes Mr. Rogers in Rocket, Redfin Super Bowl teaser

Rocket Redfin Lady Gaga

When Rocket and Redfin step onto the Super Bowl stage for the first time together, they’re doing it with a familiar melody and a powerful sense of purpose. The companies have unveiled a teaser for their Super Bowl LX commercial, featuring Lady Gaga performing a reimagined version of Won’t You Be My Neighbor?, the beloved theme song from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. The spot signals the launch of a broader campaign centered on home, community, and the human connections that turn houses into neighborhoods.

The teaser marks Redfin’s first-ever Super Bowl appearance in its 20-year history and positions the brand alongside Rocket Companies in a shared narrative about belonging. At the heart of it all is Gaga’s voice, reinterpreting a song that generations associate with kindness, empathy, and the quiet reassurance of being seen.

Few artists are better suited to carry that message. A 14-time GRAMMY Award winner, Gaga has built her career on radical openness, emotional honesty, and advocacy for individuality. Those values echo the legacy of Fred Rogers, whose gentle approach to community and care shaped childhoods for decades. Gaga’s rendition gives the song new resonance while honoring its original spirit, transforming a familiar tune into a modern meditation on connection. Watch below and try not to shed a tear:

“This campaign was created with a deep sense of purpose and a belief in what brings people together,” said Jonathan Mildenhall, chief marketing officer at Rocket Companies. “America is at its best when we are neighborly, when we look out for one another and feel connected to the people around us. This work is about reviving belief in the American Dream and reminding people that finding a home and a community is still possible.”

The full campaign will debut during the Super Bowl with a 60-second spot built around a human story, using music as a shared emotional language. Rather than focusing on transactions or features, the work asks viewers to reflect on how they show up for one another where they live, and how small acts of neighborliness can shape a sense of home.

That philosophy builds directly on Rocket’s recent Super Bowl history. Last year’s “Own the Dream” campaign famously extended beyond the screen when fans inside Caesars Superdome joined a live singalong of John Denver’s Take Me Home, Country Roads. The broadcast cut seamlessly from the commercial back to the stadium, turning a 60-second ad into a shared, real-time experience. The moment earned a Cannes Gold Lion in 2025, racked up nearly 250 million social views, and even pushed the decades-old song back up the Billboard charts.

This year, the story evolves. Instead of focusing solely on the journey home, Rocket and Redfin widen the lens to the place people arrive together. By bringing Redfin into the Super Bowl conversation, the campaign expands from individual aspiration to collective belonging, positioning neighborhoods as the emotional center of the American Dream.

“Mister Rogers was for generations a heartfelt presence for children and families all over the world,” shared Lady Gaga. “I was honored to be asked by Rocket and Fred Rogers Productions to reimagine his beloved classic ‘Won’t You Be My Neighbor?’ for Rocket’s Super Bowl spot. I hope you sincerely enjoy this as much as I did, recreating it with fellow musicians and friends Alex Smith and Benjamin Rice.”

The announcement also lands just ahead of the 2026 GRAMMY Awards, where Gaga is nominated for seven awards, including Album of the Year for MAYHEM and multiple nods for “Abracadabra.” With a new album, a recent one-night-only concert film, and now a Super Bowl moment rooted in community and care, Gaga once again proves her ability to bridge spectacle and sincerity, reminding audiences that sometimes the biggest stages are best used to say something simple and human.
