Maxwell House
gets into
the true spirit
of Labor Day
by giving you
a paid day off
According to the AFL-CIO, one in four Americans will be working this Monday. Maxwell House plans to do something about that. The company is offering anyone working on Labor Day the chance to win the equivalent of a paid day off in the form of a $150 Visa reward card.
So before you begrudgingly head off to the job, share a photo of yourself or someone you know who is working this Labor Day Weekend, in a tweet to @Maxwell_House with hashtag #LaborOnLaborDay and #Contest between 9/1-9/3. See rules here.
Traditionally Labor Day is known as the unofficial end of summer in the United States with a day of beaches and barbecues, music, food, parades, fireworks and fun for the whole family. But The centuries old Federal Holiday was created to honor the advances of the American labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers.
Maxwell House found one of America’s hardest workers and gave him a well-deserved surprise for Labor Day. This year Maxwell House celebrates truck driver, Ron Kline, for his dedicated service of 53 years without a day off, by treating him and his entire family to a much deserved vacation of his dreams.
The Facebook, Twitter and Instagram campaign, developed with ad agency David, includes a video honoring Ron Kline.
