Kalshi unleashes Marshawn Lynch’s Beast Mode

Kalshi

Marshawn Lynch is back in Beast Mode… whether he likes it or not. A new Kalshi spot imagines the downside of the retired NFL star’s famous alter ego, turning the phrase into a literal physical transformation.

Created by Es Muy Good and directed by Craig Gillespie, the 60-second commercial finds Lynch doing something completely ordinary: stopping at a convenience store for milk and Skittles.

Then someone says the two words.

“Beast Mode.”

Lynch immediately transforms into a bulky, Transformer-like version of himself, making even the simplest tasks nearly impossible. After dropping his phone, he can barely pick it up. Once outside, another passerby recognizes him, and the trouble starts all over again.

The gag plays off the mythology around Lynch’s bruising running style and longtime Beast Mode nickname, but treats it like an inconvenient superpower he can’t control.

The spot also slips in a movie reference for action fans. It was filmed at a grocery store featured in The Fast and the Furious, while Lynch’s elaborate suit was created by Legacy Effects. Watch below:

The campaign continues Kalshi’s push into athlete-driven advertising.

Lynch became an investor in the prediction-market company late last year, joining a roster of sports figures associated with the brand that also includes Lionel Messi, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bryson DeChambeau.

The Lynch spot launches alongside another new Kalshi campaign featuring tennis legend Pete Sampras.

For Lynch, though, the joke is simple. Beast Mode may be great on the football field.

At the convenience store?

Not so much.
