JOJO’s Chocolate is a sweet win for Hanson Dodge

Hanson Dodge (HD) has been named the first-ever creative agency partner for JOJO’s Chocolate, a brand known for its daily dose of delicious, low-sugar, guilt-free chocolate snacks. The decision, made without a formal review, entrusts HD with strategic, brand, and creative development responsibilities.

“JOJO’s was founded from a family recipe to help people make healthier choices without feeling guilty,” said Sterling Jones, son of company founder JoJo. “We wanted to spread our good story and chose Hanson Dodge to be our first agency partner. We were familiar with HD’s work with other family-founded brands and thought they would be a great fit for our needs.”

JOJO’s Chocolate was born from a deeply personal place. Confronted by breast cancer, “Mama JOJO” sought to perfect a delicious, low-sugar, guilt-free chocolate snack to satisfy her sugar cravings. The product proved so delicious that her son Sterling wanted to share it with other health-conscious individuals.

From its inception, JOJO’s has been on a mission to spread love. Today, JOJO’s products are available online and at CVS stores in various flavors, all made with low-sugar, low-carb, simple and clean ingredients. The snacks are also NON-GMO, Gluten-Free, Lactose-Free, and Soy-Free.

Work on the JOJO’s Chocolate brand begins immediately. This partnership follows a decision earlier this year by Ruffwear, a performance gear brand for dogs, also family-founded, which awarded its business to HD in January. That work is expected to debut this summer.
