HBO Max has released the official trailer for season three of the Max Original Titans. The series, now in its third season, follows DC’s young heroes as they come of age and discover where they fit in society. And it’s looking like from the grim trailer that the series will lean into the death of Robin/Jason Todd and the birth of Red Hood.
We also get our look at former MadMan Vincent Kartheiser (Pete) as new Titans’ mad man Scarecrow as well as Savannah Welch as Barbara Gordon who is now the police commish. Watch the trailer below:

It feels like Scarecrow will be playing a mentor ala Hannibal Lector to Dick Grayson’s/Nightwing’s Clarice. Of course, there’s a poster:
Titans stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Conor Leslie, Curran Walters and Joshua Orpin with Alan Ritchson, Minka Kelly, Damaris Lewis, Savannah Welch and Vincent Kartheiser. Jay Lycurgo will recur this season.
Titans is produced by Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television. Based on the characters from DC, the series was developed by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns & Greg Berlanti, with Johns, Berlanti, Greg Walker and Sarah Schechter serving as executive producers.
The first three episodes of season three will debut THURSDAY, AUGUST 12, with subsequent episodes launching weekly every Thursday through October 21 on HBO Max.
