Fox News, part of media mogul Rupert Murdoch’s empire, announced today that former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will become a contributor.

Sanders, who held the position for nearly two years, will make her debut on Fox & Friends during its next live audience show on Sept. 6.

She will also deliver political commentary and analysis across Fox News’ platforms, including Fox News Channel (FNC), Fox Business Network, Fox News Digital, Fox Nation and the radio and podcast division.

Huckabee Sanders spent from January of 2017 through that July as the deputy press secretary under Sean Spicer, who was just announced as one of the contestants on Dancing with the Stars.

She was then promoted to press secretary, and remained in that role until she stepped down last month and was replaced Stephanie Grisham.

Prior to her time in the White House, Huckabee Sanders served as a senior adviser to GOP Sen. Tom Cotton in 2014 when he defeated incumbent Democrat Sen. Mark Pryor.

It’s rumored that Sanders is also contemplating a run for the governor of Arkansas. The President publicly supported the idea on Twitter when he announced she was leaving her post.

He tweeted, “She is a very special person with extraordinary talents, who has done an incredible job! I hope she decides to run for Governor of Arkansas – she would be fantastic. Sarah, thank you for a job well done!”
