Havas acquires Australian Public Affairs Consultancy

Havas has completed its acquisition of Australian Public Affairs (APA), a renowned public affairs and strategic communications consultancy based in Australia.

Founded 27 years ago by Tracey Cain, APA will now be integrated into H/Advisors, Havas’s global strategic communications advisory network. Following the acquisition, the firm will be renamed H/Advisors APA.

This strategic move marks H/Advisors’ entry into the Australian market and aligns with its growth strategy for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Havas is committed to enhancing its capabilities in strategic communications and regulated environments, and this acquisition strengthens its foothold in Australia while providing additional expertise and geographic reach to serve global clients expanding internationally.

The leadership team at H/Advisors APA, including CEO Tracey Cain, Deputy CEO Phil McCall, and CFO Kathryn Higgs, will remain in their current roles, ensuring continuity and a seamless transition.
