Just a day after celebrating his 34th birthday Harry Potter star Tom Felton, best known for playing villain Draco Malfoy, was led off a golf course in Wisconsin after suffering an apparent medical event and collapsing.

At the time, it’s reported the English actor was participating in a Ryder Cup practice event at Whistling Straights in Kohler, Wisconsin. The actor fell on the ground at the 18th hole, surrounded by a group of people.

Following the incident, Felton, on a stretcher, was escorted off the course in a cart, where he appeared still alert.

The Ryder Cup is a biennial men’s golf competition between teams from Europe and the US. Felton was representing Ireland.

He was joined at the event by a number of other celebrities, including Mandy Rose, former Chicago Bull Toni Kukoč, Mike Eruzione, Stephanie Szostak, A.J. Hawk, Dan Jansen, Kelly Slater and Sasha Vujačić.

Just yesterday, Felton posted a comment on his Instagram celebrating his birthday.

“33 years done – good lord it’s been so much fun getting here – yet, somehow, I still feel the best is yet to come,” Felton wrote on Instagram Wednesday. “Thank you all for your love, support & sense of humour – let’s keep a good thing going – to the next 33 xx.”

Felton made his big-screen debut in 1997’s The Borrowers, but he’s best known for his portrayal of Draco Malfoy in the film adaptations of J.K. Rowling‘s book series. The first movie hit theaters in 2001 and Felton reprised his role in each of the sequels until the final installment premiered in 2011. Felton was also a recurring guest star on season three of The Flash.
