Giulio Nenna unveils final single ahead of debut album

Giulio Nenna

Acclaimed Italian multiplatinum producer, composer and orchestra director Giulio Nenna is stepping into a new creative chapter with the release of Luna Nueva, the final single from his upcoming debut instrumental album, In My Past Lives, due April 17, 2026.

Arriving March 13 alongside an official video, Luna Nueva marks a striking new direction for Nenna, blending cinematic emotion with Mediterranean textures and evocative guitar-driven soundscapes. The track explores themes of rebirth, memory and transformation, serving as both a closing statement and a new beginning within the album’s larger visual and musical narrative.

Directed by Alexander Coppola, the accompanying video stars dancer Giulia Amicuzi with choreography by Mariavittoria Piscione. Together, they create a symbolic meditation on identity and metamorphosis. Venetian masks, representing the many selves and lifetimes we inhabit, become vessels for spiritual transformation as Nenna’s score moves between memory, emotion, and destiny. Watch the sneak peek below:

“Luna Nueva represents the end of a journey and the beginning of another,” said Nenna. “It’s a meditation on how every note, every image, every past experience carries within it a seed of renewal. Through this music, I wanted to reconnect with the emotional memory of sound and rediscover the innocence and freedom that first drew me to create music. This piece is both a farewell and a rebirth, closing one cycle while calling forth the next.”

With more than 40 platinum certifications and collaborations that include Irama, Shiva, Ana Mena, Alfa, Rkomi and Ste, Nenna has become one of Italy’s most influential contemporary music figures. His work bridges classical discipline and modern experimentation, with credits that include conducting orchestras for RAI and the Sanremo Festival, as well as performances for Irama and Riccardo Cocciante, the composer of Notre Dame de Paris.

Nenna’s broader body of work also includes roles as Music Director for VIVO Concerti, composer for Rockin’1000, and film composer with Rodeo Drive Productions, reflecting a musical identity rooted in cinematic storytelling and genre-crossing ambition.

His forthcoming album, In My Past Lives, expands on those themes across six deeply personal instrumental pieces that trace a journey through identity, memory, and artistic rebirth.

Luna Nueva will be available March 13 on all major streaming platforms.
