
The 2025 Gerety Awards continue to champion creativity with the announcement of a brand-new honor: In-House Agency of the Year. The award, presented in partnership with The Industry Club, recognizes excellence within brand-side creative teams and celebrates the growing impact of in-house agencies in the global advertising landscape.
The new category builds on last year’s successful collaboration with The Industry Club and follows the recent launch of the UK’s first-ever In-House Talent & Salary Survey, developed with the In-House Agency Leaders Club (IHALC). The findings reinforced the importance of elevating and recognizing the creative contributions of in-house teams—often working under unique pressures and constraints.
“We are thrilled to partner with The Industry Club again, who have a proven record of supporting in-house agencies,” said Lucía Ongay, cofounder of the Gerety Awards. “This special prize, just like the agency and network of the year awards, will spotlight the world’s most creative in-house agency.”
The In-House Agency of the Year will be determined by a point system based on performance across all shortlisted and awarded entries:
- Grand Prix – 12 points
- Gold – 8 points
- Silver – 4 points
- Bronze – 2 points
- Shortlist – 1 point
The winning in-house agency will be formally recognized by The Industry Club. “In-house agencies continue to push the boundaries of creativity while navigating the unique challenges of operating within a brand,” said Melissa Smith, Founder and Managing Director of The Industry Club. “This award is a well-deserved recognition of their innovation, impact, and growing influence. We’re proud to again partner with Gerety to spotlight the exceptional talent within these teams.”
Now in its sixth year, the Gerety Awards are named for Frances Gerety, the copywriter behind the timeless slogan “A diamond is forever.” The awards stand apart by bringing together a jury composed of some of the most accomplished and powerful female voices in advertising to select work that resonates with today’s most influential consumers.
This year’s jury is the largest to date, comprising 245 judges across 50 countries. As always, work is judged on the originality of the idea and creativity in execution.
