BBDO, VML top Gerety Awards 2025 Shortlist

Gerety Awards

The diamonds have spoken. The Gerety Awards—known for putting female voices front and center in adland—just dropped their 2025 shortlist, and the U.S. is shining bright.

Juries assembled across continents—UK, Brazil, France, South Africa, and more—and their insight sessions are streaming all week. If you’re looking to hear what the sharpest women in the industry are really thinking, grab your headphones.

Among the American finalists: VML, BBDO New York, Translation, R/GA, and Dentsu New York. Eleanor also takes a major bow, named US Production Company of the Year by the Los Angeles Executive Jury.

Nutter Butter, You Good?, Mustard x Mustard, Oreo Empire, You’re Not Ready, Thanks for Coke-Creating, The Replacer and When Sally Met Hellmann’s are some of the shortlisted campaigns from the US chosen by the Executive Jury.

Jury Presidents Rosie Bardales (CCO, VML) and Lauren Smith (ECD, 72andSunny) led the New York and LA panels, respectively. Said Smith: “We discussed surprising, meaningful, and well-crafted work. But more importantly, we showed up with strong opinions and open minds.”

Eleanor’s Sophie Gold summed up the L.A. jury’s honor best: “We built Eleanor to challenge the norm, champion bold talent, and prove that taste is a strategy. Today, we feel like diamonds: forged under pressure, rare in our clarity, and built to last.”
