Enercare is trying to make furnace maintenance feel less like a chore and more like the start of winter comfort.
Created with GALE, the new “Comfort Days” campaign reframes seasonal home maintenance around the payoff rather than the task itself: a warm house, hot coffee and the comfort of knowing the cold is staying outside.
The campaign builds on a familiar homeowner habit. Furnace maintenance often gets pushed down the to-do list until temperatures drop or something starts making noise.
“Comfort Days” flips that mindset by focusing on what preparation makes possible. The creative uses a nostalgic claymation-style world inspired by classic holiday television specials, with knitted textures, glowing fireplaces and cozy slippers helping shift the mood from obligation to anticipation.
GALE worked with Bent Labs on the animation, with the campaign having rolled out across channels beginning the week of Sept. 15. Watch below:

OpenAI’s campaign turns prompts into moments of mastery
“Many homeowners wait until the first cold snap to think about their furnace, which can be too late,” said Jenny Thompson, Vice President, Marketing at Enercare. “‘Comfort Days’ is about changing both the timeline and the mindset.”
Thompson said the campaign is designed to connect maintenance with something homeowners actually care about: knowing their home will be warm and ready when they need it.
Jason McCann, Managing Director at GALE, said the creative came from avoiding the least appealing part of the message.
“Nobody gets excited about winter prep,” McCann said. “It’s the chore you put off until the furnace makes a noise. So we didn’t focus on the chore. We focused on the payoff: a warm house, a hot coffee, and the frost on the other side of the glass.”
That emotional framing gives a routine service message a much warmer personality.
Instead of selling maintenance, Enercare is selling the feeling of being ready.
