Fivestone Studios ushers in new era with Jesus Garcia Galvez

Creative production powerhouse Fivestone Studios is entering its next chapter with the appointment of Jesus Garcia Galvez as the company’s first-ever Managing Director. The announcement was made by Fivestone’s Founder and Chief Creative Officer Traylor Woodall, who described the hire as a significant leap in the studio’s evolution from boutique shop to global digital practice.

A Barcelona-based innovator with a 15-year track record across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, Jesus brings a unique blend of creative, strategic, and technological expertise to the role. Most recently, Director of Product, Business, and Technology at Dentsu, he led interdisciplinary teams on high-impact assignments for brands like Seat, Cupra, and Seat: Code (Volkswagen Group), incorporating everything from AI and XR to eye-tracking and metaverse experiences into future-forward brand ecosystems.

His previous tenure includes leadership roles at global design giant Gensler, where he served as Global Technology Discipline Co-Lead in both San Francisco and London. He’s also an award-winning educator, having taught in the Master’s program at California College of the Arts, which received the Don Norman Design Award for Humanity-Centered Design during his time.

“Jesus is the perfect fit to scale Fivestone into a world-class digital practice,” said Woodall. “His deep understanding of immersive technology, combined with sharp business acumen and a designer’s eye, gives us exactly what we need as we continue delivering groundbreaking work for clients like Lenovo, Accenture, Chevron New Energies, and several major museum installations.”

For Jesus, the decision to join Fivestone was both philosophical and personal. “What drew me here was their principles-first mindset and relentless commitment to quality and craft,” he said. “This is a team that genuinely cares about the work, the people, and the experience. That kind of culture is rare, and it’s exactly what’s needed in an industry evolving at the speed of light.”

Jesus added, “My goal is to push the edge of what’s possible through technology while holding onto the human values that matter most. Fivestone is already doing that — I’m just here to help elevate it even further.”

With this appointment, Fivestone signals a bold ambition: to redefine what a digital studio can be, not just creatively, but structurally, culturally, and globally.

Reel 360 News wishes Jesus all the best in his new role.
