FIN Studios launches first talent slate

FIN STUDIOS

Emmy-nominated, woman-owned production company FIN Studios has launched its first talent roster, bringing together directors, editors and AI-enhanced artists to support the growing content needs of agencies and brands.

The Los Angeles-based creative studio also introduced a new website and expanded web presence as part of the launch.

FIN’s roster includes talent with experience across commercials, branded content, feature films, documentaries, photography, social media and AI-driven video. The directing roster includes Travis Hanour, Mike Medoway, Gage/Betterton, Emmy winners The Storkels, Matthew Pollock, Steve Davis and Trevor Gourley.

The editorial roster includes multi-Clio-winning lead editor Ling Ly, along with Mike Bertin, Billy Sacladan, Micah Levin and Volkert Besseling.

FIN Studios has also added a growing collective of AI specialty artists under the direction of creative director Damien Nemire-Pepe, who oversees the studio’s motion design, VFX and AI video teams.

The roster spans a wide range of creative backgrounds. Hanour, a former D1 athlete and art director, is known for sports, lifestyle and documentary work with athletes including Rory McIlroy, Saquon Barkley and Roger Federer. His recent 17-minute documentary for TaylorMade Golf has drawn more than 12 million views on YouTube.

Medoway brings a blend of verité realism and cinematic polish to work for clients including Lexus, MLS, Under Armour, Seiko, the Minnesota Timberwolves and the U.S. Air Force.

Gage/Betterton, the wife-and-husband director/DP team of Jenny Gage and Tom Betterton, come from the world of New York art and fashion photography, with work featured in Vogue, W Magazine, and The New York Times Magazine. Their credits include the documentary feature All This Panic as well as commercial work for Ember, Olay, The Gap and Dove.

Bryan and Amy Storkel, known professionally as The Storkels, are Emmy-winning documentarians whose work blends narrative and documentary storytelling with a distinctly American point of view. Their projects include The Pez Outlaw and Bitconned, along with a recent move into scripted comedy with HBO’s It’s Florida, Man.

Pollock is a Cannes-winning director who developed his comedy voice through CollegeHumor and series including Adam Ruins Everything and Smartypants. His commercial work includes Mentos, Amazon, McDonald’s, Adobe and Lay’s.

Gourley, a former creative director and copywriter, has written campaigns for Pizza Hut, the Toronto Blue Jays, Expedia and EA Sports. As a director, he has brought his comedy sensibility to work for Kraft, Priceline, Remax, Harvey’s and Budweiser.

Davis is a director and AI artist with an editorial background, now focused on generative AI filmmaking. His work combines emotion and spectacle for brands including Pilgrim’s Chicken, the NBA, the Miami Marlins and ESPN.

The launch comes as agencies and brands increasingly need content packages that can scale across platforms, formats and audiences. FIN’s expanded offering includes live-action production, photography, social content, AI-assisted creation and full post-production services, including editorial, motion design, VFX, color, sound design and interactive digital content.

“Our roster brings together directors, editors, AI, and other artists who have created everything from feature films and episodic TV to documentaries and commercials in multiple genres. We’ve assembled this eclectic mix of talent to deliver any format a client needs,” said FIN Studios Head of Content Alex Cohn. “We believe creative content can be entertaining and engaging while still driving brand purpose, and we are excited to bring this philosophy—and our expanded production offerings—to a wider array of new client partners.”

“FIN was built to be the exact kind of production partner today’s agencies and clients need,” said Jean Freeman, FIN Studios Principal and CEO. “By pairing an agile, technology-driven studio infrastructure with flexible production capabilities, we can pivot seamlessly from premium film to cutting-edge social content. We are giving clients direct access to a creative toolkit that executes any vision with incredible efficiency that drives real results.”
