Culture-defining production company Fela has added photographer Kelly Jacob to its photography roster for global stills representation. Jacob, whose work centers on the depth and complexity of the human experience, is known for imagery that explores the unfamiliar and challenges viewer expectations.
Jacob has collaborated with leading brands including Air Canada, Aldo, Cozey, ELLE Québec, Kombi, La Canadienne, Maguire, and Altitude Sports. His clients often return not just for his visual style, but for his ability to build genuine relationships and a sense of community across every project.
A Québec native, Jacob studied psychology at university in Montreal, a foundation that continues to inform his artistic direction. Self-taught behind the camera, he has cultivated a practice rooted in intention, often gravitating toward work that reveals the beauty and interdependence between people and the natural world.
“Fela is unconventional, and they understand culture. This means that they stay super relevant,” Jacob said. “They focus on storytelling, and they root for the underdog, which resonates profoundly with me. I can’t wait to start working with them.”
Marina Sulmona, Head of Photography at Fela, praised Jacob’s distinctive point of view. “Kelly’s vision is very distinct and each image he creates is eye-catching,” she said. “Whether it’s for branded campaigns or editorial work, we can’t wait to see him shine by expertly using his craft to tease out true emotion.”
Reel 360 News wishes Kelly Jacob all the best at Fela.
