
Halloween season just got a whole lot scarier – and sweeter. Fanta has teamed up with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse for a first-of-its-kind global partnership that unites four horror icons on shelves and screens: Chucky, Freddy Fazbear, the Grabber, and M3GAN.
The campaign, timed to coincide with the release of The Black Phone 2 (Oct. 17) and Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 (Dec. 5), shares a common obsession among the icons: they all want a Fanta.
Alongside special content and real-world activations, the villains will also appear across Fanta’s Halloween packaging – with Chucky on Chucky’s Punch (a new berry flavor debuting this season), Freddy Fazbear on Orange, the Grabber on Strawberry, and M3GAN on Grape. Scan the cans and fans unlock exclusive content and experiences that dive deeper into each character’s lore.
“Halloween is the festival of tricks and treats — the one time of year when your deepest desires come to the surface,” said Ibrahim Salim Khan, Global Vice President of Fanta at The Coca-Cola Company. “In a delicious and thrilling partnership with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse, we’re bringing back the most legendary icons of horror for the very first time. They’re back. But they’re not here to haunt you. They just want to… drink Fanta! (They Wanta Fanta!).”
From September through October, expect to spot the icons everywhere — from vending machines to OOH boards — hunting down their favorite flavors. But fans should move fast: the Fanta Halloween Collection, including Chucky’s Punch, is only available for a limited time.
