The American Cinema Editors (ACE) has revealed the nominees for the 2025 ACE Eddie Awards, which will celebrate exceptional editing achievements in 14 categories spanning film, television, and documentaries.
Among the standout contenders in the drama feature film category are Conclave, Dune: Part Two, and Emilia Pérez. On the comedy side, Anora, Challengers, and The Substance have secured nominations. Television highlights include nods for Only Murders in the Building, Fallout, Nobody Wants This, and Shogun.
In the documentary categories, the films Jim Henson: Idea Man and Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story earned nominations, while series such as The Jinx – Part Two and Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV were also recognized.
Special Honors
As previously announced, director Jon M. Chu (Wicked) will receive the prestigious ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award. Veteran editors Maysie Hoy and Paul Hirsch will also be honored with career achievement awards for their outstanding contributions to the art of editing.
