Good Behavior, the comedy-forward production company launched by director Pete Marquis with partners Victoria Guenier and Adam Lawson, has signed director Brandt Lewis for U.S. representation. The move follows a breakout year that earned Good Behavior a 2025 Ad Age A-List Production Company Standout nod.
Lewis shifts to Good Behavior with a pedigree that spans both sides of the camera: years as an art director at Deutsch, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, 72andSunny, and Wieden+Kennedy, followed by a directing career since 2018, crafting sharp, character-led comedy for Arby’s, Tinder, Snickers, Skyscanner, Yumbos, and more. He was among the creatives behind CP+B’s famously quirky Burger King campaigns, featuring the miming monarch in an oversized mask—work that helped define a tone he now brings to set as a director: off-kilter, human, and precisely timed.
“Brandt is doing the kind of work I love seeing out in the world—damn funny, but played to its maximum potential,” said Marquis. “He knows when to escalate, when to hold an awkward beat, and he coaxes beautifully underplayed performances. I’m over the moon to have him on our team.”
“I’m really excited about how Good Behavior approaches both the work and the relationships,” added Lewis. “We’re all ex-agency, so we get the realities on the other side of the table—and as that landscape shifts, Good Behavior is built to shift with it. At the core, we love idea-driven comedy, and this shop is engineered to bring those ideas to life.”
Guenier, who worked with Lewis at Deutsch, said, “Brandt has directed spots we’re envious of. It’s a thrill to be collaborating again.”
Raised in Tucumcari, New Mexico—among neon signs, roadside curios, and Route 66 motels—Lewis honed a visual sensibility that blends clean design with a sly comedic heartbeat. He’s known for casting instincts and performance direction that surface “the awkward truths” audiences remember—bringing big-brand thinking and meticulous craft to every project.
Reel 360 News wishes Brandt the best of luck at Good Behavior.
