DC FanDome releases August 22 schedule

Eschewing Comic-Con, which was fairly tame, for their own supersized event DC’s Fandome, Warner Bros. has now revealed the exciting and enticing full schedule for Saturday’s event. Can. Not. Wait.

Highlights include a Wonder Woman:1984 panel featuring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal, and director/co-writer/producer Patty Jenkins join forces with Brazilian hosts Érico Borgo and Aline Diniz to celebrate the fans in a big way.

They will field questions from fans from all over the world, talk fan art and cosplay, and reveal an all-new sneak peek at the upcoming film — plus a few more surprises!

Another highlight will be a look at the long-gestating The Flash movie features a ten-minute panel with Ezra Miller, filmmakers Andy Muschietti (IT and IT: Chapter Two) and Barbara Muschietti, and screenwriter Christina Hodson (Bumble Bee, Birds of Prey).

The Suicide Squad 30-minute panel will include both James Gunn and that impressive ensemble.  Gunn takes on fan questions, then brings out Task Force X for a fast-paced, no-holds-barred Squad Showdown that tests every team member’s Squad knowledge — and survival skills!

Dwayne Johnson will be on hand to deliver “a few surprises” for Black Adam, while Aquaman and Shazam! are both getting panels reflecting on the 2018 and 2019 releases (rather than the planned sequels, though there could be some hints about what comes next).

For the highly anticipated Justice League, “Zack Snyder fields questions from fans and a few surprise guests as he discusses his eagerly awaited upcoming cut of the 2017 feature film and the movement that made it happen.”

Previously, the filmmaker has teased a trailer, title reveal, and more, so that should be a big one.

What should have fans salivating is the 30-minute panel for  The Batman, Director Matt Reeves joins host and self-professed fangirl Aisha Tyler for a discussion of the upcoming film… with a surprise (or two) for the fans!

Elsewhere, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is getting a panel, while there will also be an announcement Warner Bros. Games Montreal.

We can also look forward to all the major DC TV shows being highlighted, along with the world premiere of Superman: Man of Tomorrow. Throw in a tonne of comic book panels and various other surprises, and this is going to be EPIC!
