Colle McVoy has been selected as creative partner for brand development with Allegiant as the airline evaluates its brand strategy following its acquisition of Sun Country Airlines.

The Minneapolis-based agency will support Allegiant across identity development, employee and customer engagement, transition communications and go-to-market planning as the company shapes the next phase of the combined airline.

The assignment gives Colle McVoy a meaningful local role in a major travel-brand transition. Sun Country has long held a strong connection with Minnesota travelers, serving the region for more than four decades. Colle McVoy was selected for its experience helping brands navigate periods of change while maintaining and strengthening customer relationships.

“This work will shape how millions of travelers experience Allegiant in the years ahead,” said Drew Wells, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Allegiant. “Sun Country has earned deep loyalty in Minnesota and beyond, and our job is to carry that trust forward and welcome passengers to the Allegiant family while creating a clear path for what’s next. Colle McVoy understood both the opportunity and responsibility that come with a transition of this scale, and brought the strategic rigor and creative vision to match it.”

Essentia teams with Son Heung-Min to Change the Equation

The partnership began in May 2026 following a competitive review. The first elements of the work are expected to be shared later this year.

“Sun Country has been part of Midwest families’ travel stories for decades,” said John Doyle, Chief Strategy Officer at Colle McVoy. “That history comes with both responsibility and opportunity. The challenge isn’t simply designing a new identity. It’s creating clarity for customers during a period of change and building something people want to come back to again and again.”
