Clash of Clans and WWE are stepping back into the ring together – only this time, the fight is happening inside millions of mobile villages. For their second collaboration, WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes has enlisted Clash of Clans players around the world to track down and raid John Cena’s in-game base, turning a long-running rivalry between the two wrestlers into a month-long global gaming hunt.
The crossover runs through September 30 and taps into something surprisingly authentic: both Rhodes and Cena have been playing Clash of Clans for nearly a decade. According to the campaign’s setup, their rivalry began long before anything happened inside a WWE ring.
“People think this started in the ring with Cody. It didn’t,” Cena said. “It started when I out-raided him in the game, and he threw me off his team.”
Now Rhodes wants backup.
Throughout September, Cena’s loot-filled village can appear during players’ normal raids. Successfully defeating the WWE legend’s base unlocks a one-time-only Cody Rhodes statue that players can add to their villages.

And Cena doesn’t sound particularly worried.
“Ten years later he still needs help,” Cena said. “This time he’s asking millions of you to take on my base. That’s fine. As I have always said – if you want some, come get some.”
Rhodes has also recruited fellow WWE stars including The Undertaker and IYO SKY to encourage their own fans to join the hunt.
Beyond the search for Cena, the crossover transforms six WWE Superstars into characters inspired by Clash of Clans heroes. Watch below:

Rhodes returns as Barbarian King, while Alexa Bliss becomes Archer Queen, The Undertaker takes on Grand Warden, IYO SKY becomes Royal Champion, Jey Uso transforms into Minion Prince and Kane appears as Dragon Duke.
The collaboration also introduces temporary WWE-themed troops, special chests and a branded village environment inspired by WWE Money in the Bank, which takes place on October 10 in New Orleans.
WWE chests can include rewards such as Action Figure Equipment, Challenge Tickets and a guaranteed Cody Rhodes skin. Players who already own the Rhodes skin will receive alternate in-game rewards.
The partnership continues WWE and Supercell’s push to merge wrestling personalities with gaming culture in ways that go beyond simply dropping recognizable faces into the game.
This time, the idea centers on the shared gaming history between two of WWE’s biggest stars – and a challenge perfectly suited to Cena.
After all, gamers have spent years hearing that you can’t see him.
Now they actually have to find him.
