LA-based Cashmere Agency has released literally a menu of humorous new work for client partner Jack in the Box. Led by Creative Director Tynesha Williams, the agency ties together the launch of Jack’s Buffalo Popcorn Chicken, Honey Butter Chicken Sandwich and breakfast by using the social meme of “When something happens…”
In the Popcorn Chicken campaign, we see three buddies sitting on a couch getting ready to check out an Instagram photo of one of their new girlfriends. When it turns out to be one of the friend’s mother, Jack is there with his popcorn chicken to give the others something to munch on, while the drama “pops off.”
In another :15-second spot, we are on the red carpet with a superstar sporting off his “original” designer outfit… that is until Jack Box shows up with the same one. The hostess then begins popping the Popcorn Chicken while the “drama pops off.” Watch below:
Breakfast is now extremely competitive between QSR’s. Jack in the Box is also trying to become a “go-to” for their new coffees and creamers. Using the meme intro, “When you’re breakfast famous,” we see why Jack in the Box is. Watch below:
Finally, Jack in the Box has introduced a new (and it looks damn good) Honey Butter Chicken sandwich. According to the new :15-second spot, the sandwich is so tasty, that your mind will be blown. Watch below:
