Cardi B channels her ‘Barb Wire’ in cosplay shoot

(Call her “Carb Wire?”)

Remember Barb Wire? No. Well, for the comic-uneducated, she was a superhero published by Comics Greatest World, an imprint of Dark Horse Comics. The character first appeared in Comics’ Greatest World: Steel Harbor in 1993.

The original Barb Wire series published nine issues between 1994 and 1995 and was followed by a four-issue miniseries in 1996. It then became a 1996 starring Pamela Anderson which made an astounding $3.8 million on a $23 million budget and sits at 26% on Rotten Tomatoes.

But that did not stop uber-popular singer Cardi B from displaying her inner Barb Wire in a sexy new Instagram post. She says, “Give it to Bardi.”
