Bobbi ‘Mamahotdog’ Rich says Hello to Helo

Global experience and production company HELO is excited to announce their partnership with all-around creative chameleon, Bobbi “mamahotdog” Rich.

A multi-faceted director, production designer, storyteller and more, Bobbi will be working with HELO’s clients to direct and produce a variety of commercial work.  

“We’ve admired Bobbi’s work over the years and felt her distinctive style, energy, and approach fit the direction HELO is going in,” said Brendan Kiernan, Co-Founder of HELO. “Bobbi’s familiarity with our team of directors and creators means we can get to work on our upcoming projects immediately, and we know she’ll fit right in. Bobbi brings out the best in every person she works with, and she will bring her passion and creativity to both our clients and work.” 

Bobbi started her career as a story and field producer for TV series including American Pickers and Going Cambo. Recently, she was the art director for the Joe Berlinger Netflix series Crime Sceneand the production designer for the Vimeo Staff pick, Assholes. 



Most impressively, Bobbi spent the past year on the creative direction & interior design of Nashville’s new experiential 70’s inspired hotspot, “The Dive Motel & Swim Club,” which has been featured in Condé Nast’s top experiential hotels of 2020 as well as Architectural Digest. 

Bobbi is also a storied director within the music industry, having previously directed dozens of music videos, live performances, creative direction, album art, and other promotional content for artists such as Brittany Howard, Enrique Iglesias, Elton John, Nathaniel Rateliff, Marg Price, The Pixies, and more. 

“Joining HELO was an easy decision for me,” said Bobbi. “My experience in art direction and set design pairs nicely with HELO’s signature design aesthetic. I am eager to bring my enthusiasm for stylistic, cinematic directing to the company’s clients and continue to create show-stopping pieces of work commercially and beyond.” 

Rich is currently working on several projects, including a documentary executive produced by Jeff Tremaine and Johnny Knoxville about music industry legend Phil Kaufman titled The Road Mangler, a documentary series titled Mother Truckers Convoy, and series Swipe Left.
