Former Snap chief strategy officer Imran Khan has officially launched Verishop, an enhanced e-commerce platform that combines quality curation and discovery with the convenience consumers have come to expect.

The e-commerce platform is reportedly on a mission to “bring joy back to online shopping” for quality-conscious millennial shoppers. The cutting-edge site plans to stay on the forefront of fashion, beauty and skincare and home-decor by building a tech-driven platform that both brands and customers deserve.”

Khan, who worked in the banking industry for a decade before he joined Snap, is being helped in this effort by his wife, Cate Khan, who worked at Quidsi when it was owned by Amazon and cosmetics giant Avon.

So, speaking of Amazon, how does a new shopping platform that aims to be the go-to lifestyle destination for potential customers actually reach those customers?

It turns to New York-based Bindery to create a dynamic brand anthem.

The award-winning indie film and content studio teamed with Verishop to bring these ideas to life in video form, encapsulating the modern millennial shopper the brand is building its platform for.

So much about retail is how a brand and a product makes you feel, and Bindery was able to dynamically capture what Verishop is all about. Watch below:

“Verishop has an incredible vision for the future of retail, and the team’s ambition was contagious,” said Greg Beauchamp, founder of Bindery. “Working with a brand pre-launch is always exciting because we’re able to help craft the visual expression of the brand. It’s a different type of brief, and Verishop proved to be incredible partners as we developed a launch film that felt uniquely theirs.”

In many ways, the video helps position Verishop as a high-end and online version of a department store, which separates it from actual brick and mortar department stores that are struggling.
