Women’s grooming company Billie is flipping the script on Movember.
Traditionally an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide, the company is asking women to participate and grow their moustaches for the month.
It’s the first time the month has had a female marketer.
Enlisting RadicalMedia’s Agostina Gálvez, Billie has created a playful spot to announce their participation. Cutting between a variety of women, they speak to camera, “Our hair has an announcement to make – women have mustaches.” The company then announces that they are growing their “Mo’s” out for Movember as well.
