Partnering with Tombras, a creative agency known for its innovative approach, BARK aims to transform air travel for our furry companions, ensuring they experience comfort and style during their journeys.
Jeff Benjamin, Chief Creative Officer of Tombras, expressed enthusiasm about this unique venture, stating, “Once again, BARK is taking a significant step forward for dogs in a distinctive and memorable way. We’re accustomed to placing our beloved family members either in a bag under a seat or, worse, in a crate alone in a cargo hold. Being pet-friendly isn’t enough. Together with BARK, we’ve reimagined every aspect of this airline, prioritizing dogs’ needs.”
Starting April 11, dog parents can book flights on BARK Air’s website, dogsflyfirst.com, with destinations including New York City, Los Angeles, and London. Tombras played a vital role in shaping BARK Air’s brand identity, plane design, and in-flight experience, ensuring every aspect caters to the unique needs of canine travelers.
The integrated marketing campaign for BARK Air features a captivating hero film titled “Dogs Fly First,” showcasing the airline’s unparalleled amenities such as world-class dining (featuring delicacies like Toilet Water, or doggie champagne), tantalizing in-flight entertainment, custom lay-flat beds, call buttons for belly rubs, and the upcoming Tail Winds—the world’s first in-air dog park. Outdoor billboards in key cities and engaging social media content complement the campaign, generating excitement among dog lovers worldwide. Benjamin noted, “Some people will think this is unusual. And I’m sure they’ve never flown in a duffel bag.”
