Bakery announces four promotions to partner roles

Bakery has announced the elevation of four longtime agency leaders to partner roles, reinforcing the independent shop’s creative and operational leadership as it continues to scale.

Kaleb Sindac has been promoted to EVP, Head of Design, while Kerrie Heckel steps into the role of Executive Creative Director after seven and five years at the agency, respectively. Both leaders reflect Bakery’s commitment to developing talent from within, having grown from mid-level creative roles into agency ownership.

Rodrigo Rothschild, known throughout the industry as Rotch, has also been named Executive Creative Director after nearly six years at Bakery. Prior to joining the agency, Rothschild held creative director roles at VML, Latinworks, and DDB. He continues his longstanding creative partnership with Jose “Hache” Hernandez, ECD, who joined Bakery earlier this year from Leo Burnett Chicago. The duo previously worked together at VML and Latinworks, earning recognition at Cannes Lions and The One Show.

Chuy Hernandez has been elevated to EVP, Executive Producer & Managing Partner. In addition, he will serve as President and Co-Founder of Supernatural, the content arm within Bakery’s expanding agency ecosystem, which also includes full-service media agency KEN. Hernandez brings more than 16 years of agency production experience, with past work spanning Austin-based shops such as Preacher and Callen, as well as global networks including Omnicom, Stagwell, Saatchi & Saatchi, Droga5, and Burrell.

The leadership appointments formalize the team that has helped fuel Bakery’s recent growth, including major wins and launches with Nike, Tree Hut, Shiner, Sendero Provisions, and Diageo.

“They may be new partners, but they’re well-known faces to our team and our clients. These four have been instrumental in shaping the work, the culture, and the future we’re building,” said Micky Ogando, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Bakery. “This is overdue recognition of the impact they already have on the agency every day.”

All four partners are based in Austin and are assuming their new roles immediately. Reel 360 News congratulates Kaleb, Kerrie Heckel, Rodrigo, and Chuy Hernandez on the well-earned promotions.
