Bagel Bites celebrates National Dog Week

To celebrate National Dog Week (9/20 – 9/26), Bagel Bites pizza snacks are asking America to decide –  How should a dog wear pants? That’s right. Pants. Whether you’re team “four-legged pants” or proudly stand with the “two-legged pants” crew, Bagel Bites pizza snacks has your pup’s legs covered.

Now through today 9/22, Bagel Bites are asking Twitter users to pick a side of this playful debate around how dogs should wear pants, because cute dogs and pizza on a bagel, we can all agree with that. According to an agency spokeswoman, over 50,000 people have weighed in already.

Following the results of the Twitter poll, Bagel Bites pizza snacks will release custom dog pants for $19.95 at, starting at 3 p.m. EDT this Wednesday.

New Activation

In addition to PR & paid social support, the brand is also partnering with dog influencers to further fuel the playful debate on social media. Influencers were sent dog pants in custom pizza boxes to unbox for their followers.

The activation is based on an ad “How Dogs Wear Pants: A Bite Sized Debate” – that launched last month as part of the brand’s first major advertising campaign since the 2000s. Reel 360 reported on this.

The campaign, a first created by Johannes Leonardo since winning the Kraft Heinz business, introduced a refreshed brand platform that plays into contemporary and lighthearted debates in culture, placing Bagel Bites pizza snacks in the center as the universally loved snack that everyone can agree on.
