Art Directors Guild reveals nominees for 30th annual awards

The Art Directors Guild (ADG), IATSE Local 800, has announced the nominees for its 30th Annual Excellence in Production Design Awards, recognizing outstanding achievement in production design across film, television, commercials, music videos, and animation.

The milestone ceremony will take place February 28, 2026, at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown, marking three decades of honoring the artists who shape the visual language of storytelling.

“This 30th anniversary is not only a celebration of this year’s remarkable work, but of the visionary artistry that has defined production design for decades,” said Dina Lipton, President of the Art Directors Guild. “From production designers and illustrators to set designers, scenic artists, and graphic artists, these nominees represent the creative backbone of our industry.”

The 2026 awards will be produced by Megan Elizabeth Bell, Michael Allen Glover, and Tom Wilkins, and will also include Lifetime Achievement Awards honoring Bo Welch, Jann Engel, Tom Southwell, and Stephen McNally for their lasting impact on the craft.
