Sex and the City fans just got a huge present from HBO Max. As part of the virtual launch event for HBO Max Europe, it was announced that the highly anticipated Max Original series, AND JUST LIKE THAT…, will debut on HBO Max in December.
The Max Original And Just Like That…, the new chapter of the groundbreaking HBO series Sex and the City, from executive producer Michael Patrick King, follows “Carrie” (Sarah Jessica Parker), “Miranda” (Cynthia Nixon) and “Charlotte” (Kristin Davis) as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.
The series is currently filming in New York and includes previously announced cast members Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson, and Evan Handler. Watch the teaser below with Sarah Jessica Parker:

Recently the cast and crew experienced a tragedy as castmate Willie Garson, best known for playing Stanford Blatch on Sex and the City, passed away at age 57. We do know that the character of Stanford, and his on-screen husband Anthony (Mario Cantone), do have an ongoing storyline during the first season. As to how many episodes Garson will appear in is a mystery.
And Just Like That premieres this December.
