American Family Insurance celebrates HOF inductee, Derek Jeter

On September 8, Major League Baseball will host its Hall of Fame ceremony honoring the inductees for the classes of 2020.  Among the inductees will be Derek Jeter. In honor of the occasion, American Family Insurance will be running a special commemorative commercial saluting Jeter and all of his accomplishments, both on and off the field.

Jeter has been a long-time brand ambassador for American Family Insurance.  His commitment to inspiring and supporting the dreams of youth aligns with American Family’s mission to inspire, protect and support dreams.  After all, a dream is the most valuable thing a person will own. 

The ad, created by American Family’s creative agency partner, Elite Media and directed by Search & Destroy’s Ritesh Gupta, features Jeter walking into a room filled with items marking special milestones in his life, from photographs of his mom, dad and sister, Sharlee, to his best friend Jorge Posada, high school coach, wife and children, and even his nephew, who wears his number 2.

It ends with Jeter saying, “With the right support, any dream is possible.  American Family Insurance.  Insure carefully, dream fearlessly.” Watch below:

The tribute ad will debut on September 8 during the MLB Hall of Fame induction ceremonies.  It will then continue to run on the MLB network as well as MLB.com.  and will run in :30, :15 and :06 lengths.
