Universal Pictures has finally unveiled the first teaser trailer for one of their biggest releases of 2019, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.
The F&F spin-off, the new odd couple of Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) team-up to take on the most formidable villain they’ve ever faced: a cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist named Brixton (Idris Elba), who is literally bulletproof.
The pair will also partner with a rogue MI6 agent, Vanessa Kirby (Mission Impossible: Fallout), who is coincidentally Shaw’s sister, which makes the whole situation a lot more complicated when she seemingly gets taken.
There’s also the expected array of fast cars, over-the-top action, and ridiculously brutal hand-to-hand combat that fans have come to expect from this franchise.
All in all it’s a trailer that is sure to make you smile.
