AFI FEST 2025 announces sponsors and partners

The American Film Institute (AFI) today announced the official sponsors and partners for AFI FEST 2025 presented by Canva, running October 22–26 in Hollywood.

This year’s festival features over 160 films, including 7 Red Carpet Premieres, 12 Special Screenings, 14 Luminaries selections, 15 Discovery films, 20 World Cinema selections, 15 Documentaries, 6 After Dark titles, 44 Short Film Competition entries, and 23 films from the AFI Conservatory Showcase.

The lineup includes 5 World Premieres, 5 North American Premieres, and 5 U.S. Premieres. Tickets and passes are available now at FEST.AFI.com and during the festival at the AFI FEST Box Office inside the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres Lobby. Sold-out screenings will have rush lines available.

Canva returns as the Presenting Sponsor, joined by an exceptional roster of corporate partners including Apple Original Films, Northern Trust, AMC Networks, AT&T, Amazon MGM Studios, Netflix, IMDbPro, and FIJI Water, the festival’s Official Water Partner.

New sponsors this year include Northern Trust, HitsBev, and Francis Ford Coppola’s Inglenook Wines. Returning sponsors include AT&T, IMDbPro, Dell Technologies, and Stella Artois.

AT&T brings back Untold Stories, its $1.2 million production grant program. Following the screening of Honeyjoon, a past grant recipient, AT&T will host a discussion encouraging filmmakers to apply for next year’s award.

IMDbPro returns with its popular portrait studio at the AFI FEST Filmmaker Party, offering complimentary professional headshots to attending members.

Canva will host Design Without Limits: Panel and Workshop with Patty Jenkins and William Means on October 25, spotlighting their collaboration on Junkie, which will screen on October 26.

FIJI Water will again hydrate attendees via its signature red carpet FIJI Water Bar and 100% recycled plastic bottles throughout the festival.

Northern Trust will sponsor the Red Carpet Premiere of Jay Kelly on October 23. AMC Networks returns to present the AFI Conservatory Showcase (October 23–24). This year’s In-Kind Sponsors include Panavision, Illuminar, Eventive, Ovation Hollywood, TCL Chinese Theatres, US Blanks, Cinegear, and SirReel.

The Envelope by The Los Angeles Times returns as the festival’s Primary Media Partner, joined by Official Media Partners including The Wall Street Journal, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and ABC7 On the Red Carpet. Affiliate Media Partners include TheWrap, IndieWire, Screen International, Los Angeles Magazine, and KCRW. Each will present a dedicated Special Screening.

As previously announced, AFI FEST 2025 opens with Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere and closes with the World Premiere of Song Sung Blue. Other Red Carpet highlights include Jay Kelly, Nuremberg, Dead Man’s Wire, Christy, and the World Premiere of The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.
