Zoic Studios has bolstered its leadership team with the addition of Nicole Fina as Senior Executive Producer of its Advertising division and Aladino Debert as Executive Creative Director.
Fina, a seasoned veteran in visual effects and post-production, joins Zoic from AFX Creative, bringing decades of experience working with major brands such as Apple, Nike, Google, Intel, EA, and the NFL. She previously led the commercial and games divisions at Digital Domain and has also worked with top post houses like MPC, Method, Psyop, and Troika.
Debert, known for his award-winning work in both advertising and entertainment, takes on the role of Executive Creative Director, where he will lead creative teams across feature films, television, games, advertising, and branded content. His 14-year tenure at Digital Domain saw him delivering high-profile projects for BMW, Nike, Pepsi, Citadel, Ms. Marvel, and Outlander.
Elevating Zoic’s Creative Vision
Announcing the appointments, Chris Jones, Zoic Studios Co-Founder and ECD, praised the impact of these additions: “Bringing in an artist of Aladino’s caliber as Executive Creative Director is a game-changer for us. His ability to elevate every project he touches is second to none. Pairing that with Nicole’s deep industry expertise and vast network of creatives, producers, and clients makes Zoic better, stronger, and more innovative as we continue to grow.”
Fina’s role will extend beyond sales, shaping the strategic vision for Zoic’s advertising business. With a sharp understanding of the rapidly evolving ad landscape, she aims to expand opportunities for Zoic by tapping into new agency and brand partnerships.
“Zoic combines big studio capability with small studio agility,” said Fina. “It’s still independently owned, which means quick decision-making and true creative collaboration. That’s what excites me about being here—getting back to the work that matters.”
Debert, who previously worked with Fina at Digital Domain, echoed the enthusiasm, “This role is the perfect fit for me because it lets me work across diverse projects, from advertising campaigns to epic cinematic storytelling. Zoic has always been a creative powerhouse, and now, with Nicole here, our mission is clear—we’re here to compete at the highest level and push the boundaries of what’s possible.”
