Wave Studios wins Best in Show at 2024 AMP Awards

AMP

Wave Studios NY clinched the Ryan Barkan Best in Show Award at the 11th AMP Awards for Music & Sound with its impactful “Heal the Future” spot for Sick Kids Foundation.

The two-and-a-half-minute advertisement, created by Cossette, also secured a win in the Outstanding Mix category. The awards ceremony, held at Sony Hall in New York on May 15, saw a sold-out attendance and was led by AMP’s leaders along with 2024 Show Chairman, Leo Premutico, Co-Founder and Creative Chairman of Johannes Leonardo.

This marks the third Best in Show accolade for Wave Studios, following their previous wins in 2019 and 2020 for Smirnoff’s “Infamous Since 1864” and The New York Times’ “Fearlessness,” respectively. The 2024 winning entry, mixed by Issac Matus, dramatically underscores the importance of early diagnosis in saving the lives of children with severe illnesses or conditions.

Yessian Music emerged as the only multiple-category winner at this year’s AMP Awards. Their entry for Schweppes, titled “The Social Sound Experience,” won in both the Best Use of Music and Sound in Emerging Media or Experiential Events and Most Innovative Process & Execution categories.

The 11th AMP Awards also celebrated adidas as the newest inductee into the AMP Hall of Fame, highlighting its significant contributions to music and sound for brands.

The AMP Awards continues to honor the best in music and sound for brands, recognizing exceptional creativity and innovation in the industry.
