Being couped up due to the outbreak of the coronavirus COVID-19 has obviously had its negative effects. But in many cases it has a lit a fire under artists ranging from actors to directors. Before he directed Shazam! for Warner Bros. David F. Sandberg was known as a horror director helming creepy classics such as Annabelle: Creation and Lights Out.
Sandberg has now made a new 2:58 short film called Shadowed. Described as a short companion piece to Lights Out, Sandberg wrote, shot and edited the film during self-isolation. Watch below. Oh and watch as Sandberg says, “watch loud in the dark!”:

Sandberg recently revealed that while production on the Shazam! sequel was originally scheduled for later this year, the ongoing global health crisis could force a delay.
